Job summary

Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL is seeking a Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medications, and provide drug information to clinical staff. This PRN - .3 position involves supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting training of students and technicians.

The successful candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a BS in pharmacy, be licensed or eligible in Alabama, and hold parenteral certification with an active controlled substances license.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a BS in Pharmacy.
Eligible for or licensed to practice pharmacy by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy; parenteral certification and active controlled substances license required.
One year of experience in hospital pharmacy or equivalent training during clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense medications timely and accurately.
Provide drug information to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff.
Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians.
Assist in training of pharmacy students and technicians.
Participate in drug use evaluation and quality assurance activities as requested.
Contribute to clinical duties in the pharmacy and uphold patient safety and quality.
