Job summary

Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL is seeking a Pharmacist for a PRN - .3 day shift. You will prepare and dispense medications, provide drug information to staff, and supervise pharmacy technicians.

You will participate in training, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and contribute to patient safety and quality in the pharmacy. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a BS in Pharmacy and eligible for or licensed by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience or clinical rotation in school.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; familiarity with pharmacy software and computer systems preferred.

Qualifications

Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a minimum of a bachelor's of science in pharmacy. Eligible for or currently licensed to practice pharmacy by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy. Parenteral certification and active controlled substances license are required.

Experience:

One year of experience in hospital pharmacy or equivalent training during clinical rotation portion of pharmacy school.

Additional Skills/Abilities:

Must have effective communication skills and good interpersonal relationships with staff members. Use of pharmacy software and other computer skills are preferred.
