Job summary

Cullman Regional Medical Center in Cullman, AL is seeking a Pharmacist for a PRN - .3 day shift. You will prepare and dispense medications, provide drug information to staff, and supervise pharmacy technicians.

You will participate in training, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and contribute to patient safety and quality in the pharmacy. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a BS in Pharmacy and eligible for or licensed by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital pharmacy experience or clinical rotation in school.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills; familiarity with pharmacy software and computer systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications timely and accurately.
• Provide drug information to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff.
• Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians.
• Assist in training of pharmacy students and technicians.
• Comply with all federal and state rules and regulations regarding distribution of medications.
• Participate in drug use evaluation and quality assurance activities as requested.
• Take an active role in clinical duties within the pharmacy.
• Demonstrate and promote teamwork and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
