Job summary

Cullman Regional is seeking a pharmacist to joins its hospital team in Cullman, AL. The role includes preparing and dispensing medications, providing drug information, and supervising pharmacy technicians.

You will participate in training of students and staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and contribute to clinical duties and quality initiatives. Alabama licensure and BS in Pharmacy are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a BS in Pharmacy and Alabama pharmacy license (or be eligible).
• Parenteral certification and active controlled substances license required.
• At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience or clinical rotation.

Qualifications

Education:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a minimum of a bachelor's of science in pharmacy. Eligible for or currently licensed to practice pharmacy by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy. Parenteral certification and active controlled substances license are required.

Experience

• One year of experience in hospital pharmacy or equivalent training during clinical rotation portion of pharmacy school.

Additional Skills/Abilities

• Must have effective communication skills and good interpersonal relationships with staff members. Use of pharmacy software and other computer skills are preferred.
