Responsibilities
Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other clinical staff for safe medication management.
Provide oversight of a safe and timely medication use system.
Oversee compounding in accordance with USP and regulations.
Ensure medications are received, stored, labelled, and wasted appropriately.
Ensure controlled substance processes are adhered to.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal medication therapy.
Participate in care coordination and investigational drug management for research patients.
Support reporting of pharmacy interventions and medication errors.
Education
Graduate of an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school or a school with ACPE accreditation pending
Current California pharmacist license
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
