Responsibilities

• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other clinical staff for safe medication management.
• Provide oversight of a safe and timely medication use system.
• Oversee compounding in accordance with USP and regulations.
• Ensure medications are received, stored, labelled, and wasted appropriately.
• Ensure controlled substance processes are adhered to.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal medication therapy.
• Participate in care coordination and investigational drug management for research patients.
• Support reporting of pharmacy interventions and medication errors.

Education

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited pharmacy school or a school with ACPE accreditation pending

Current California pharmacist license

Clinical Pharmacist I

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist I to serve as the medication management expert, provide accurate drug information to providers, nurses, and other staff, supervise technicians, and collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver high‑quality patient care.

As a successful candidate, you will:

• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure the medication management process is safe, high quality, and cost‑effective for all patients.


• Provide oversight of a safe and timely medication use system.


• Oversee compounding in accordance with USP, Board of Pharmacy, and other regulations.


• Ensure medications are received, stored, labelled, transported, and wasted appropriately.


• Ensure controlled substance processes are adhered to.


• Collaborate with members of a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patients' medication therapy.


• Participate in care coordination and investigational drug management for research patients, following all required regulations and practices.


• Actively support reporting of pharmacy interventions, adverse drug reactions, and medication errors.

Your qualifications should include:

• Graduate of an ACPE‑accredited pharmacy school or a school with ACPE accreditation pending.


• Current California pharmacist license.


• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
