Qualifications

• Pharm.D or equivalent degree required from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• 1-2 years direct patient care experience in a hospital setting required; PGY-1 preferred.
• Licensure as a pharmacist in DC required; Board Certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates medication orders for accuracy and dispenses medications.
• Assesses feasibility and compounding of extemporaneous products.
• Prepares IV admixtures and sterile products, including hazardous agents.
• Responds to drug information requests and monitors therapy.
• Ensures safe drug therapy and counseling where appropriate.
• Maintains inventory and ensures regulatory compliance.
