Job summary

Actalent, Inc. seeks a Clinical Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations, manage staff, and provide high quality clinical support for a patient care team.

You will ensure compliant dispensing and build strong relationships with patients and clinicians to optimize pharmacotherapy. You will conduct comprehensive pharmacotherapy reviews, counsel patients on medications, and document clinical interventions in accordance with laws and internal standards.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree and licensure to practice pharmacy.
• 2-3 years of counseling and direct patient care experience.
• Experience conducting comprehensive pharmacotherapy reviews.
• Strong patient counseling and clear communication.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software and clinical technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and ensure safety of daily pharmacy operations for the assigned team.
• Manage pharmacy staff to support compliant dispensing processes.
• Serve as primary intake contact for referrals and triage.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and clinicians.
• Build relationships with patients and clinicians to support continuity of care.
• Conduct comprehensive clinical reviews of pharmacotherapy per guidelines.
• Counsel patients on medications, usage, interactions, and adherence.
• Document interventions and dispensing activities per regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clinicians to optimize pharmacotherapy.
