Mercy seeks a pharmacist to collaborate with the health-care team to ensure safe and effective drug therapy and to serve as a key drug information resource for pharmacy, nursing, medical staff, and patients. The role upholds Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.
Ideal candidates will have a BS or PharmD from an accredited school, active pharmacist license, and 2+ years of clinical experience with PGY-1 preferred; in Missouri, a Medication Therapy Service Certificate must be obtained
Works with members of the health care team to provide safe and effective drug therapy. Serves as a drug information resource to pharmacy, nursing, and medical staffs as well as to patients. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Education: Minimum requirement of Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in pharmacy degree from accredited school of pharmacy.

Requires a current pharmacist license from state of practice.
Certifications:
Two or more years clinical experience and a PGY-1 residency is preferred.
Pharmacists practicing in Missouri must have a Medication Therapy Service Certificate as issued by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy within 90 days of start date.
