The Pharmacist collaborates with the Director of Pharmacy to compound and dispense medications in accordance with physician prescriptions and professional standards.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with Pharmacist degree.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English.
• Current state license in good standing, BCLS certification.

Mansioni

• Compounds and dispenses medications per physician orders with accuracy.
• Collaborates with Director of Pharmacy and hospital staff on quality and regulatory issues.
• Interprets medication orders and ensures appropriate dosing for adults and geriatric patients.
• Maintains drug information and provides education to hospital personnel.
• Supervises technical staff and supports clinical and education programs.
• Keeps labeling and IV preparation accurate and compliant.
• Monitors patient profiles for safety, interactions, and allergies.
• Ensures security of controlled substances and maintains logs.
