Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Pharmacy program; eligible for Pharmacist licensure in state of practice.
• Residency preferred.
• Licensed Pharmacist in state of practice or eligible to apply for licensure within 180 days; Board Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acts as liaison between allied health professionals and registered nurses to ensure accurate, rational drug therapy.
• Reviews orders for dosing accuracy, drug interactions, allergies, and appropriateness.
• Participates in multidisciplinary rounds, committees and workgroups as a medical team consultant.
• Provides drug information to allied health professionals, nurses, patients, and the public.
• Evening shift focused on clinical consults, reports and code response.
