Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking a clinical pharmacist to provide comprehensive medication management services and integrate clinical care, order management, patient education and research.

The role includes supervising pharmacy technicians, ensuring accurate dispensing, collaborating with health professionals, and contributing to patient safety and cost-effective drug use. Evening shift 1P-930P alternating with 2P-1030P; 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Pharm.D degree required or BSPharm with 3 years hospital experience.
• Massachusetts licensure to practice pharmacy is required.
• ASHP residency in Pharmacy Practice (PGY1) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive medication management services.
• Maintains patient profiles and monitors drug therapy for safety and effectiveness.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Ensures accurate dispensing of medications and manages inventory and recalls.
• Participates in education, quality improvement, and regulatory activities.
