UMass Memorial Health is seeking a clinical pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The role integrates clinical services, order management, staff education, and research to enhance patient safety and outcomes.

The pharmacist will provide comprehensive medication management, supervise technicians, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize therapy and reduce costs, while upholding regulatory standards.

Formación

• Required: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree; OR Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) degree with 3 years hospital experience.
• Licensure with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy.
• Preferred: ASHP Accredited Residency in Pharmacy Practice (PGY1).

Responsabilidades

• Provides medication management services in a collaborative manner with clinicians.
• Ensures timely and accurate dispensing of medications and proper preparation of pharmaceutical products.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and optimizes pharmacy technology.
• Detects and reports adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
• Participates in accreditation and regulatory activities and education of staff and students.
