Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital invites applications for a Clinical Pharmacist. This role provides clinical pharmacy services, monitors drug therapy, and supports safe and effective patient care within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians, addressing drug interactions, and contributing to quality improvement and inventory management. A valid KY pharmacist license or eligibility is required, with preference for hospital residency and experience.

Qualifications

• KY pharmacist licensure or eligibility required.
• Pharmacy degree (PharmD/BPharm or equivalent) or bachelor’s level qualification.
• Hospital pharmacy residency preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills; ACLS/BCLS within 60 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care and clinical pharmacy services.
• Monitor therapeutics and intervene to optimize outcomes.
• Consult with physicians and nursing on drug interactions and patient reactions.
• Assist with quality improvement, inventory, and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
• Document and communicate patient information using computerized systems.
• Apply age-specific considerations to patient care.

Education

KY Pharmacist licensure or eligible

Pharmacy degree (PharmD/PhD) or Bachelors

Hospital pharmacy residency preferred

1-year hospital experience
