Job summary

The Clinical Pharmacist (Ticket Solutions) at Sioux Falls VA Healthcare System will serve as the subject matter expert for electronic health record (EHR) issues, handling workflows and mitigations. The incumbent triages EHR reports, ensures routing for resolution, and provides troubleshooting and validation support while communicating outcomes.

Collaboration with facility, VISN, national, and vendor contacts is essential.

Qualifications

• US citizenship as required for VA employment.
• Pharm.D. or ACPE-accredited BS Pharmacy.
• Current license to practice pharmacy in a U.S. state or territory.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Experience with healthcare informatics and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on EHR issues and workflows.
• Triage and route EHR issues; track tickets to resolution.
• Provide troubleshooting and validation support for EHR problems.
• Coordinate with facility, VISN, national, and vendor points of contact.
• Manage pharmacy-related tickets and communicate resolution updates.
• Assist with policy and procedure updates for automated data processing.
• Provide routine patient care and participate in pharmacy duties as needed.
