Job summary

Premera is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to partner with clients, analyze pharmacy data, and translate insights into practical strategies that improve affordability and member experience. The role requires travel across Western WA, Eastern WA, and Alaska (about 20%).

You will collaborate with brokers, sales, and internal experts to optimize benefits, serve as a trusted clinical advisor, and lead MTM-related initiatives with a focus on quality and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Active US Pharmacist license in good standing (Required).
• Pharmacist degree (Required).
• Two years’ experience as a pharmacist or completing clinical pharmacy training (Required).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as pharmacy SME for internal/external stakeholders (brokers, employer groups).
• Develop and present pharmacy reporting to clients and internal teams.
• Identify gaps in client benefit setups and opportunities to improve outcomes.
• Support pharmacy RFP sales and strategy with market insights.
• Maintain knowledge of MTM services, formulary development and drug use criteria.
