Job summary

Labela is seeking U.S.-based Clinical Pathologists at every career stage to serve as subject matter experts to validate and audit AI-driven clinical reasoning in frontier models. This is a flexible, remote engagement designed to influence safety and accuracy at scale.

You'll review diagnostics and treatment strategies for alignment with CAP standards, provide ground truth for complex lab medicine cases, and advise on AI-driven decision support tools.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical Pathology (ABPath), or a current senior resident or fellow (PGY-2 or above).
• 2+ years of postgraduate clinical training.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.

• Clinical Logic Auditing: Review and refine AI-generated diagnostic and treatment strategies to ensure alignment with CAP standards.

Overview

Labela is seeking U.S.-based Clinical Pathologists at every career stage, from board-certified attendings and fellows to senior residents (PGY-2 and above), for high-level clinical consulting. You will serve as a subject matter expert to validate, refine, and audit the clinical reasoning of frontier AI models. This is a flexible, remote role designed to let clinicians influence the safety and accuracy of medical AI at scale.

• Communication: Ability to provide concise, technical feedback on complex clinical cases.

Position Details

• Environment: 100% Remote


• Commitment: Flexible, project-based hours designed to fit around a clinical or training schedule. This engagement runs July 30 to August 31, 2026.
