Job summary

Wellstar Health System seeks a Clinical Outcomes Manager (COM), an advanced-degree nurse leader, to drive safe, high-quality care across units. You will partner with nursing executives, department and physician leaders to implement evidence-based practices, leverage quality metrics, and foster system-wide improvements in patient outcomes.

You will champion unit- and system-level initiatives, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to accreditation and clinical standards, while translating research

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or MBA/management required.
• BLS certification on hire required (RN/Compact where applicable).
• Minimum 3 years nursing experience; 5+ years to focus on outcomes/improvement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives with nurses and leadership; monitor metrics and improve outcomes.
• Apply clinical guidelines and coordinate care to enhance patient outcomes and staff engagement.
• Drive staff development through training, mentorship and QI tool application.
• Foster interdisciplinary relationships and stay current with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
• Translate research into practice and lead or participate in relevant quality improvement projects.
• Direct and coordinate quality patient care and mentor staff to pursue certification and growth.
