Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Clinical Outcomes Coordinator (Full Time, Days) in the Quality Management department to support performance improvement and regulatory reporting.

The role coordinates data collection, analyzes clinical outcomes, prepares dashboards, and collaborates with nursing leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality initiatives and accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing; BSN required, Masters preferred.
• 5 years recent RN experience; 2 years acute inpatient specialty experience.
• 2 years experience in quality role preferred.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Louisiana or multi-state compact license.
• CPHQ certification preferred.
• CPR certified.
• Must maintain required CEUs per year as per Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to communicate with patient, family, peers and medical personnel.
• Ability to analyze data and communicate findings with team.
• Requires emotional stability and resilience.
• Must be adaptable to change, be decisive, and demonstrate foresight.
• Exhibit organizational and leadership ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates data collection, analysis, and submission activities for regulatory compliance and quality reporting programs.
• Supports the medical staff quality improvement and peer review process.
• Oversee/supervise Core Measure Reporting
• Supervise Core Measure Abstracters
• Assist with quality and performance improvement efforts throughout the organization and support quality management systems.
• Plan and prioritize work, facilitate collaboration, and support shared decision-making and problem-solving.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills and appropriate utilization of resources.
• Collect, analyze, and report clinical outcomes data to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain performance metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Review patient care data to ensure adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations on clinical outcomes and quality indicators.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to implement quality initiatives.
• Support accreditation, regulatory survey readiness, and quality improvement projects.
