Job summary

Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience.
• Optical or Healthcare background preferred.
• Medical office professionalism required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for onsite and remote examinations.
• Complete pre-exam diagnostic tests and document results in EMR.
• Assist onsite doctor with eye examinations and explain the testing process.
• For remote appointments, guide patients through remote eye exam steps and documentation.
• Coordinate patient flow and schedule appointments per company guidelines.
• Explain MVC plan benefits and assist with insurance preauthorizations.
