Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Assoc Manager Clinical Ops Study Start-Up to lead the day-to-day management of a clinical administration team. You will coach staff, optimize resourcing, training, and performance, and align with senior management on strategic planning.

The role covers study start-up, maintenance, close-out, and collaboration across departments, ensuring compliance with ICH GCP and SOPs while supporting business development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
• 5+ years of significant clinical research experience including remote and clinical monitoring.
• 1+ year of leadership responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Leads day-to-day management of clinical administration staff, overseeing resourcing and training.
• Analyzes performance metrics and provides feedback to improve team performance.
• Develops Working Practice Documents (WPDs) and SOPs, and mentors new team members.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned by PPD management.
