Job summary

MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Operations Pharmacist to provide analytic support to optimize drug therapy for client plans. The role focuses on rational drug utilization, lowering net costs, and improving health outcomes through evidence-based methods.

The incumbent collaborates across the organization, uses data-driven indicators, and supports plan sponsors with strategic initiatives and program design within an EST work schedule.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: PharmD and 3+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 1 year of SME in respective areas.
• Computer skills: Proficient in Access, Excel and relational databases.
• Language skills: Strong ability to read, analyze and interpret complex texts and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manages and supports clinical operations projects and initiatives as defined by supervisor.
• Provides clinical subject matter expertise to support lower net costs and high clinical quality for clients.
• Coordinates clinical utilization analyses and presents findings to clients.
• Supports DUE, DUR, and QA programs to meet plan guidelines and NCQA requirements.
• Promotes rebate management and formulary optimization.
