Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a medical office, behavioral health clinic, testing environment, or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Previous Focus Clinic technician experience strongly preferred for internal candidates.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable learning and troubleshooting technology, testing software, and medical equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to appropriately handle confidential patient information and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a busy clinical environment.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, initiative, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technician serves as the primary day-to-day resource for the technician team, including training new technicians, coordinating clinical support tasks, troubleshooting testing issues, monitoring supplies, and helping ensure patient care and clinic operations run efficiently.
• Lead Technician works under the direction of the Office Manager and models professionalism, reliability, accountability, teamwork, and excellent patient service.
• Lead Technician responsibilities include Technician Leadership & Training, Testing & Technical Support, Fax Inbox Management, Telephone Encounters & Patient Communication, Prior Authorizations, Reception & Clinic Support, and Daily/Weekly Operational Responsibilities.
• Communicate concerns or training needs to the Office Manager and assist with implementing new procedures and workflow changes.
• Maintain proficiency in testing procedures, troubleshoot equipment, monitor supplies, and ensure testing rooms are organized and ready for patient use.
