Job summary

Recovery Centers of America is seeking a Clinical Coordinator to supervise the quality of patient care within a multidisciplinary team. The role ensures safe operation of clinical services across day, evening, and weekend shifts and includes staffing support and direct oversight of clinical staff.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), experience in residential settings with substance use populations, and licensure eligibility within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; master's degree preferred.
• Prefer 1 year of related experience, preferably in a residential setting, providing group-based care and/or with a substance use disordered population.
• Eligible for independent licensure or credential within 3 years of hire date; LPCA, LPC, LPCS, LMSW, LISW, LMFTA, LMFTS, LACA, LAC/LACS; ADC-IP, ADC, AADC, AADC-CS credentials considered.
• Two years supervisory clinical experience in a health/human service agency.
• Two years' peer support, recovery coaching or recovery specialist experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

• Oversight, supervision and quality assurance of all mental health and AOD clinical services, including record keeping and direct services.
• Collaborates with Clinical Director/Supervisor to coordinate weekly team case conferences for treatment plans and service utilization.
• Uses clinical assessment tools to assess psychological, psychosocial, safety and educational needs.
• Documents all client interactions for continuity of care.
• Facilitates crisis de-escalation sessions as needed.
• Provides supervision and mentoring to clinical staff on shift.
• Participates in programming by providing individual and group counseling.
• Communicates with nursing and other departments about new admissions and clinical observations.
• Performs employee counseling and reports incidents to Clinical Supervisor.
