Job summary

Springfield Clinic is seeking an Operations Manager - Clinical to oversee daily practice operations, optimize patient flow, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role includes staff supervision, payroll oversight, and collaboration with HR and Clinical Development to onboard new colleagues.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with 3–5 years of clinical/management experience, strong budgeting skills, and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing is required; Bachelor's degree in nursing strongly preferred.
• 3–5 years of clinical or medical practice management experience or completion of Springfield Clinic's Operations Management Rotational Program is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned medical practice(s) including supervision, resource use, and team leadership.
• Input on evaluation and improvement of clinical workflows.
• Coordinate with HR and Clinical Development for interviews, onboarding and orientation.
• Provide conflict management and resolution among colleagues.
• Conduct annual performance reviews and set goals with accountability.
• Create staffing matrices for clinical and non-clinical areas.
• Approve payroll and monitor leave time, attendance and FMLA usage.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Collaborate with facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of facilities.
• Communicate with physicians and staff, address concerns with timely feedback.
• Suggest improvements in patient flow, safety, quality, and cost management.
• Oversee procurement for clinical and non-clinical supplies.
• Assist in department meeting prep and minutes distribution.
• Serve as liaison to other departments and external agencies.
