Job summary

ETSU Health, a multi-specialty practice group in Northeast Tennessee, seeks a Director of Clinical Operations to lead clinical operations, quality, and regulatory compliance. The role partners with the CMO/COO to improve workflows, staffing, and patient safety across service lines.

The ideal candidate has RN licensure, 3+ years of progressive leadership, and experience with policy development and accreditation standards. Preferred MSN or MHA and Epic certification.

Qualifications

• RN license (active, unrestricted).
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory/accreditation standards.
• Experience in policy development and clinical operations.
• Preferred MSN, MHA, or related advanced degree.
• Epic certification.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CMO and COO to optimize workflow, staffing, and resources.
• Oversee regulatory readiness, audits and corrective actions.
• Develop and standardize clinical and operational policies.
• Monitor quality initiatives, patient safety, and outcomes.
• Lead education and development for nursing staff and admins.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration and governance.
• Provide data input to analytics and ensure metrics reflect clinical priorities.
