Big Future Music Group seeks a Medical Assistant Ward Clerk to support patient care in the clinic or ambulatory setting. You will manage appointment scheduling, referrals, and back-up reception while handling EMR tasks, vaccinations, and provider communication.

The role requires MA program completion, BLS, venipuncture certification, and strong computer/EMR skills; prior clinic experience is preferred and a valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current venipuncture certification.
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity.
• Experience with appointment scheduling preferred.
• One year of experience in a physician's office or clinic preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients courteously and manage multi-line calls.
• Schedule appointments per physician guidelines.
• Process referrals and insurance information.
• Assist with clinical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Perform vital signs, basic wound care, and specimen collection.
• Enter data in NextGen/EMR and manage vaccination records.
• Back-up reception and clerical workflow as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area and professional patient interaction.
• Coordinate with providers to answer patient questions.
