Job summary

Coastal Communities Physician Network, Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant Ward Clerk to support patient care in clinic settings. You will handle scheduling, referrals, and back-up reception while assisting providers and maintaining documentation in the electronic health record systems.

Strong knowledge of NextGen MA workflows, CAIR, EZCAP, and basic clinical tasks is required. Prior clinic experience and BLS/venipuncture certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program and be certified.
• Knowledge of scheduling patient appointments and handling calls.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic infection control.
• Experience in a physician office or clinic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients courteously and manage front-desk interactions.
• Schedule appointments per physician/department guidelines.
• Process referrals and manage patient records in the EHR.
• Provide back-up reception duties and task management.
• Assist with vaccinations, med administration, and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and professional conduct.
