Job summary

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe Certification required by first day (Utah/Idaho only).
• Experience with modified diets preferred.
• Strong customer service skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Takes patient meal selections and modifies them per provider orders.
• Checks trays for accuracy during meal assembly.
• Communicates clearly with clinical and culinary staff.
• Collects and inputs nutrition screening information.
• Performs calorie counts and nutrition analyses as dictated by facility.
• Uses a computer to run reports and take orders.
• Delivers and presents trays to patients using the standard process.
• Prepares salads, sandwiches, vegetables, and fruit per standard recipes.
• Follows standardized Nutrition Services practices.
• Performs accurate credit transactions and resolves basic customer issues.
