Job summary

Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services team member to assist with patient meals and meet provider orders. Shifts include evenings and weekends in an office setting, with a 30-hour workweek and hourly pay based on experience.

The role requires Food Handler or ServSafe certification and strong customer service, communication, and computer skills to manage meal modifications, tray accuracy, and input of nutrition data.

Qualifications

• Food Handler Permit or ServSafe Certification required by first day (Utah and Idaho only).
• Remote and off-site caregivers are exempt.
• Demonstrated ability to work with modified diets (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Take patient meal selections and modify them to meet provider orders.
• Check trays for accuracy during meal assembly.
• Communicate clearly with clinical and culinary caregivers.
• Collect and input nutrition screening information.
• May complete calorie count and nutrition analysis as dictated by facility.
• Utilize a computer to run reports and take orders.
• Deliver and present trays to patients using the standard process.
• Follow standard recipes and assist with meal preparation as needed.
• Maintain stock levels and handle basic customer service issues.
