Job summary

Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, VA seeks a Clinical Nutrition Manager to lead a team of registered dietitians and guide medical nutrition therapy for patients across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate is a registered dietitian with active state licensure, 3+ years of experience, strong education and staff development skills, and experience with QAPI initiatives and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with CRD.
• Licensed dietitian per state regulations.
• Experience with medical nutrition therapy and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of registered dietitians and coordinate patient care.
• Provide nutritional assessments and interventions for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on medical nutrition therapy.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
• Oversee hiring, scheduling, training, and coaching.
• Manage QAPI projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record.
