This Clinical Nutrition Education Coordinator will be responsible for:- Developing, implementing, evaluating and overseeing staff education programs, including orientation, competencies, in-service, continuing education and the Pediatric RD Residency Program.
- Coordinating, supervising, and evaluating dietetic interns/students/nutrition fellows on pediatric rotations and visits
- Developing/revising and implementing hospital-wide parenteral and enteral nutrition support programs
- Supporting departmental and hospital-wide programs, initiatives and organizational changes to improve outcomes for Clinical Nutrition.
- Assuring compliance with standards, guidelines, laws and requirements of regulatory agencies, credentialing agencies and professional organizations.
- May provide direct patient care.
To qualify, you must have...- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or closely related field
- Six years of progressive dietetic experience with four years in pediatric nutrition, including demonstrated project management and leadership experience. Experience with implementation of a parenteral and enteral nutrition competency program, a plus.
- Registration by Commission on Dietetic Registration, the Credentialing agency of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a Registered Dietitian.
- Licensure by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a licensed Dietitian.
- Certified Nutrition Support Clinician, at time of hire.
