Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's or Master's preferred.
• Massachusetts RN License is required.
• BLS, ACLS & PALS are required.
• Clinical nursing experience 5-7 years required; Lead nursing experience 2-3 years required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise patient care through verification of the nursing process per established practices.
• Ensure appropriate intervention during deterioration of patient condition or equipment issues.
• Serve as off-shift patient care representative; address patient/family concerns; document and investigate as needed.
• Conduct rounds and set expectations for accurate reporting, focusing on high-acuity patients.
• Coordinate with support services, emergency, admitting, and clinical departments to ensure care and environmental needs are met.
• Follow through to resolve patient needs and environmental/safety issues.
