Job summary

Requirements include RN license in MO or compact licensure, 2 years of patient care, and BLS; many certifications may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or completed within 30 days.
• ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E. certs may be required.
• Minimum 2 years' patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
• Works in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and standards.
