Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor – Inpatient Med/Surg East to lead patient flow, staffing, and clinical activities in a busy inpatient unit in St. Louis, MO. This full-time role requires a current Missouri RN license, BLS, and 2–3 years of direct patient care experience.

You will supervise staff, coordinate care delivery, and ensure alignment with Mercy standards, while mentoring co-workers and promoting continuous improvement and excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Current RN license or temporary permit in Missouri is required.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of direct patient care experience.
• Active BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as staff nurse in the department as needed and assumes delegated managerial duties.
• Promote Mercy Service Standards and lead change with mentorship and support.
