Job summary

You will collaborate with the unit Director, manage shifts, ensure regulatory compliance, provide staff training, and participate in care delivery as needed. California RN license and current BCLS/ACLS required; 2 years nursing with supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required and active.
• BCLS and ACLS current at hire.
• NIHSS certification within 90 days.
• BSN preferred; CCRN preferred for ICU.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing with 1 year in supervision.
• Professional certification within 2 years of hire preferred.
• Violence in the Workplace training within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Supports department service functions and works with unit Director/Manager.
• Develops and implements departmental plans and performance improvement activities.
• Conducts orientation and training of personnel.
• Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration; ensures quality of staff and shift.
• Provides direct patient care as needed within scope.
