Job summary

Centinela Hospital Medical Center in Inglewood, CA is seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor RN for evening shifts. You will support department operations, supervise staff, and ensure quality patient care in collaboration with the unit leadership.

The ideal candidate holds a California RN license, a BSN is preferred, and current BLS/ACLS (CCRN preferred) with 3+ years of Charge Nurse or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid California Registered Nurse license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of three years of Charge Nurse or equivalent experience.
• CCRN certificate preferred.
• Professional certification within 2 years of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support administrative responsibility for the department and collaborate with the unit Director/Manager.
• Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare, conduct and oversee department orientation and training of personnel.
• Communicate with staff, physicians and administration in writing and verbally.
• Maintain quality of staff and functions during the shift and ensure efficient department operations.
• Assist the Department Director in daily operations, supervising and evaluating personnel.
• Perform direct patient care as needed within the scope of practice.
• Continuously assess care and guide staff to adjust the plan of care.
