Job summary

First Day Homecare® is seeking an experienced nursing supervisor to manage client care teams delivering high-quality home care. You will ensure compliance with policies and the Nurse Practice Act while supporting staff and clients in a per diem role.

Reports to the Director of Clinical Services and supervises direct care staff across home health services. This role requires travel to client homes and participation in on-call rotations, with a competitive hourly pay and signing/ referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey required.
• Two to three years of homecare experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be a licensed driver with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates a team of RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and Home Health Aides to deliver safe, quality home care.
• Be accessible during business hours and as needed to support care delivery.
• Match referrals to appropriate clinicians and ensure plan of care is followed.
• Lead regular meetings to guide staff, set goals, and monitor progress toward outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide telephone support to clients.
