Job summary

First Day Homecare is seeking an experienced nursing supervisor to oversee client care teams delivering pediatric and home-based services. You will coordinate RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and HHAs to ensure quality care delivery within agency policies and state regulations, while reporting to the Director of Clinical Services.

The role demands availability during business hours and participation in an on-call rotation, with a per diem employment arrangement and potential for growth.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in NJ with required homecare supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise a team of RNs, LPNs/LVNs, and HHAs to ensure safe home care.
• Be available during business hours and participate in on-call rotation.
• Evaluate referrals, determine services, and assign clinicians.
• Lead case conferences and coordinate care with the plan.
• Maintain accurate weekly clinical documentation and perform chart reviews.
• Hire, train, and supervise new staff and conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Complete client admissions and develop client care plans.
