Job summary

Tufts Medicine seeks a Clinical Manager to oversee daily clinical and administrative operations for designated units, ensuring patient care aligns with organizational goals. The role involves staff scheduling, resource allocation, and leadership of float pools within a dynamic Acute Care Transition Team.

You will implement evidence-based interventions, supervise staff performance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient flow, safety, and outcomes across the patient

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure.
• 5 Years of RN Experience with at least 1 year as a charge/lead RN.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of designated unit(s).
• Prepare staff schedules and allocate resources to align with goals and vision.
• Lead and supervise staff, evaluating performance and providing timely feedback.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to address patient/family needs.
• Develop and monitor budgets; implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead hospital and departmental teams, committees, and special projects.
