Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a Clinical Manager to lead daily clinical and administrative operations for designated units. The role includes preparing staff schedules and allocating resources to align patient care with the organization’s mission and vision.

You will supervise staff, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and drive quality improvements while managing budgets and staffing. A BSN is required, with MSN preferred, and Massachusetts RN licensure is essential.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure.
• 5 Years of RN Experience with at least 1 year as a charge/lead RN.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff by evaluating work performance, providing guidance, and timely feedback based on outcome measures.
• Participates in interdisciplinary rounds to address patient/family needs and discharge planning.
• Allocates resources and coordinates services to optimize patient care and services.
• Develops and monitors operating and capital budget; implements strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Performs performance reviews with staff and orients new staff to the facility.
• Leads hospital and departmental teams, committees, and special projects.
