Texas A&M International University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing in Laredo, TX. The role is a full-time, non-tenure track, 9-month academic faculty appointment focused on teaching nursing courses and supervising student clinical experiences.

The successful candidate will evaluate student progress, advise, and participate in curriculum development while serving on committees and contributing to community engagement.

Qualifications

The candidate must hold a master's degree in nursing and an active Texas RN license.
Two or more years of clinical nursing experience are required; advanced practice nurses should meet certification requirements.
Doctorate in nursing is encouraged; ABD candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

Teach assigned nursing courses and supervise student clinical experiences.
Evaluate student progress in coursework and clinical practice.
Complete administrative tasks for courses and advise students as appropriate.
Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the curriculum; participate in committees.
Provide community and professional service as part of the role.
