Job summary
Texas A&M International University invites applications for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Nursing to begin Fall 2026. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, 9-month academic faculty appointment with primary duties including teaching assigned nursing courses, supervising student clinical experiences, evaluating progress, and advising students.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing and active RN license in Texas.
- Two or more years of clinical nursing experience.
- ABD candidates considered; doctoral degree encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned nursing courses and supervise student clinical experiences.
- Evaluate student progress in coursework and clinical practice.
- Complete administrative tasks for courses and advise students.
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate the curriculum as appropriate.
- Serve on college and university committees and engage with the community.
