Job summary

MaineHealth is hiring a Clinical Supervisor Registered Nurse for Memorial Hospital’s cancer care team. This role focuses on leading a dedicated nursing group, mentoring staff, and collaborating with providers to ensure high-quality patient care on a Monday–Friday schedule.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus (up to 2 years RN experience; prorated for part-time) and a $20,000 bonus for >2 years. It also supports professional development and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from four-year college or university in an accredited nursing program desirable; Master’s degree preferred.
• Active Nursing License and current BLS required; ACLS required for critical care departments.
• One to two years demonstrated clinical competence and leadership or equivalent.
• Ability to mentor and empower staff; set the climate on each shift for cooperation and teamwork.
• Self-directed and self-motivated with professional communication and strong nurse/physician partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a dedicated group of nurses and care professionals.
• Facilitate progression of care and act as a resource to the unit team.
• Coach staff to promote evidence-based practice and professional development.
