Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff during shift and evaluate performance.
• Assist Department Director in daily operations and efficient use of resources.
• Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare, conduct and oversee department orientation and training of personnel.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within scope of practice and adjust care plans accordingly.
