Job summary

Indiana University Health seeks a Clinical Nurse to provide and coordinate evidence-based care across the care continuum. The role requires assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The nurse participates in decision-making, teaching, and mentoring while upholding the ANA standards and the Code of Ethics. BSN preferred with active Indiana RN or NLC license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions for >2 years acute care with approval.
• BLS certification through the AHA; advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum.
• Engage in assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Adhere to the ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics.

Education

ASN

BSN preferred

Active RN license (Indiana) or NLC RN license

Graduation from nationally accredited nursing program

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit
