Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an Clinical Assistant Manager to advocate for efficient, safe nursing care, oversee staffing, budget, and regulatory compliance, and promote shared decision-making on the unit.

You will collaborate with the Clinical Manager, lead performance improvement efforts, and ensure staff competency and professional development while maintaining a patient-centered care delivery model.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum in clinical nursing practice.
• One year leadership or charge experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure in the state of employment; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in development of PI initiatives with Clinical Manager to improve outcomes.
• Provides staff with performance evaluations as defined by HR.
• Supports staff through counseling and disciplinary actions as appropriate.
• Participates in leadership and staff meetings and promotes staff involvement in nursing activities.
• Ensures staffing hours meet unit needs and coordinates patient care with other disciplines.
