Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Clinical Assistant Manager to advocate for staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance, supporting care delivery on the unit. You will work with the Clinical Manager to ensure high quality, safe patient care and staff development.

Requirements include RN licensure, a BSN preferred, and at least two years in clinical nursing with leadership experience. BLS certification is expected, with a focus on collaboration across disciplines and ongoing

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of nursing, healthcare, and organizational systems.
• Experience with performance improvement theory and application.
• Knowledge of JCAHO standards and accreditation.
• Understanding of organizational financial viability.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administrative leadership with Clinical Manager to improve outcomes.
• Coordinate staff hours and resources to meet unit needs.
• Support safe, therapeutic environment and regulatory compliance.
• Provide staff evaluations and input to performance improvement activities.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to optimize patient throughput.
