The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery at the Illinois Department of Human Services seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) for the Forensic Units AFC on the evening shift at the Alton Mental Health Center in Alton, Illinois. The CNM will direct nursing staff and ensure quality patient care in a secure environment.

Ideal candidates hold an Illinois RN license with at least four years of nursing education and three years of professional nursing experience, including supervision.

Qualifications

• Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse in Illinois.
• Requires four (4) years of college with nursing coursework.
• Requires approximately three (3) years of progressive professional nursing experience in a public or business setting.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee para-professional and non-professional nursing personnel.
• Provide professional nursing services including admissions, medications, and patient histories.
• Develop plans to implement alternatives to restraint/seclusion and ensure compliance with standards.
