Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Leader for Med Surg Unit 750. The role focuses on assessment, coordination, and evaluation of patient-centered care and mentoring teammates.

The CNL will monitor unit needs, facilitate admissions/transfers/discharges, and uphold professional standards while collaborating with nursing and nonclinical staff to ensure safe, efficient care across shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience in an acute care setting required.
• Two years of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure timely patient flow.
• Mentor and lead team to grow professionally.
• Assess unit needs and ensure adequate resources for shifts.
• Uphold standards of practice and accountability for staff.
• Participate in unit-based governance and PCI trainings.
• Ensure infection control and patient-centered care.
